Where others are ahead (today)
We would rather be upfront about this:
- Goodreads has by far the biggest community and the most reviews.
- StoryGraph has deeper statistics and mood-based recommendations. Spinefolk is building moods, pace and content warnings.
- Hardcover and StoryGraph have iPhone apps. Spinefolk has Android and web today, and an iPhone app is planned.
What Spinefolk does that the others do not

Spinefolk is free. An optional Supporter upgrade (one payment, no subscription) adds app icons, seasonal themes, deeper reading statistics, extra reading challenges and shelf looks.
