Delete your Spinefolk account

You can delete your account and data yourself, in the app, at any time.

In the app

1. Open Spinefolk and go to Profile, then tap the gear icon for Settings.

2. Tap Account and security, then Delete my account, and confirm.

Before you do, you can tap Download my data in Settings to keep a copy of your library, reviews, and notes.

What is deleted

Your profile, photo, library and locations, reviews and comments, notes and quotes, lending records, lists, wishlist, reading log, follows, group memberships and posts, and your sign-in. Groups you own are handed to another member, or removed if you're the only one.

What may remain

Copies in our backups can remain for a limited time before they're overwritten. Reports about content may be kept so we can enforce our rules.

Can't use the app?

If you can't sign in, email support@spinefolk.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm it's you and then delete your account within 30 days.
